The Properties
Cottages at Fron Fawr are situated 1 mile from the village of Boncath and only 5 miles away from the Pembrokeshire Coast and Cardigan Bay. We have 5 two, three or four bedroom cottages whish are pretty and cosy with a unique blend of traditional Welsh slate and stone barns and a contemporary design and feel and comfortable open plan sitting/dining rooms. Amenities include fully equipped kitchen area (electric oven with ceramic hob, full size fridge freezer, microwave oven and dishwasher), flat screen LCD TV with freeview channels and a DVD player, iPod docking station and Wi-Fi Internet access

The Fron Fawr site
With 48 acres of fields and woodland on your doorstep and the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast being just 5 miles away, there's plenty of outdoor activity and fresh air when you stay at Fron fawr. Guests are welcome to wander through Fron Fawr's fields and woodland which provides a rich habitat for a wide variety of birds and animals, buzzards are common. The hedgerows and fields are a delight with a profusion of wild flowers and fruits in season. Your four legged friend will just love running on the wide sandy beaches, chasing sticks and balls and playing in the sand dunes. All of the Cottages at Fron Fawr have enclosed gardens to allow a little freedom for both owners and pets.

Play areas
Children of all ages, the shared grounds make a wonderful, safe playground and the children's play area with swings, slide and ride-on toys will keep them occupied whilst Mum and Dad either relax on your private garden patio or light the BBQ for alfresco eating. There is also a children's play area with swings slide ride-on toys sand pit and barbecue area. A new indoor soft play area is nearby in Cardigan (5 miles) where the younger members can play in the indoor soft play area as well as the sand-pit, slide, ride-on toys and baby swing, table tennis, table football, pool and Air Hockey.

Things to do
Guests can try their hands at Petanque, or Boules, on the competition sized court at Fron Fawr. The game of Petanque is suitable for all ages, young and old and the setting, overlooking the North Pembrokeshire countryside is beautiful. The eight acre woodland at Fron Fawr is reached up hill by walking through the surrounding fields and once at the top, provides far reaching views over the hills and countryside towards Cardigan Bay - a perfect spot to enjoy a picnic on a summer's day or evening. Beauty therapists will visit you in the comfort of your own cottage to provide a wide choice of relaxing treatments and holistic therapies. Guests staying at Fron Fawr Cottages also have access to an indoor heated pool hot tub sauna gym and games room (4 miles away). Boat trips, sailing, fly fishing, horse riding, golf at Cardigan or Newport (5miles) a dry ski slope and bowling at Cardigan (5 miles) are all readily available and a trip to Oakwood Leisure Park or Folly Farm makes a good day out.
