About Beaver Creek
The Beaver Creek resort is a feast for the eyes and a delight for the senses. With influences from Europe's renowned resorts such as Switzerland's St. Moritz and Italy's Cortina, has led to the creation of a unique mountain resort full of excitement and a small village feel. Beaver Creek Mountain continues to welcome and challenge those who visit her slopes. With skiing fun for all levels, Beaver Creek is the perfect place for a winter family holiday. From the gentle groomed runs of Strawberry Park to the rugged glades and bump runs of Grouse Mountain, Beaver Creek can be enjoyed by everyone. Beaver Creek offers an excellent range of skiing and snowboarding on 1,815 skiable acres, with 17 lifts, and 149 runs.

If skiing is not your thing, Beaver Creek offers plenty other things to keep you entertained! The heart of the resort, Beaver Creek Village is full of quaint shops, art galleries, outdoor ice-rinks, bars and restaurants, all conveniently linked by heated walkways and escalators from the village to the base of the mountain!

For the little ones
There is lots to do for families with little ones in the charming village of Beaver Creek. The children will love the Beaver Creek Children's museum which is an indoor activity center that includes interactive and educational exhibits, making learning fun for children and parents alike! Or visit the Beaver Creek Children's Theater which specializes in animating children’s literature, poetry, fractured fairy tales and folk tales from around the world. A real treat!

Beaver Creek also offers family adventures for the young and young at heart. From Jack Rabbit Alley to Buckaroo Bowl and the Okee Dokee Korral, explore your child’s favorite runs. The little ones will love the Ripperoo’s Retreat located on the main mountain that houses the resort’s mascot and offers a ski-to dog cabin where our smaller guests can stop by and visit with Ripperoo, the Kids’ Ski School mascot. His handler will share information about the daily ske-cology environmental message, safety tips and more.

For the slightly older children there is the The Ranch, a state-of-the-art kids ski school facility for ages 7-14 at the top of the Buckaroo Express Gondola, a ski-lift for children. The center features healthy lunch options for kids’ ski school participants and flat screens for constructive video playback while refueling. Its location sits among customized beginner terrain that’s invaluable for teaching adults and kids. From the Ranch, kids can easily navigate their way to Buckaroo Bowl or the Okee Dokee Korral on the way down to the base area where mum and dad can see their progress.

The resort offers skiing and snowboarding lessons for children which are divided by age and ability level to insure an incredible learning experience for the little ones.
