Skiing
Imagine the perfect picture book Alpine ski resort, and you have a good idea of the charm of Les Gets and Morzine. The local area contains more than enough skiing for most skiers, but if you want to roam far and wide, then you have definitely picked the right place. Les Gets & Morzine are part of the Portes du Soleil ski area - claimed to be the largest linked area in the world. There are 12 resorts in France and Switzerland, all joined by a network of lifts. You can ski to Switzerland for lunch, and back to France in time for tea!

The Chalets
Ski Famille has accommodation to suit all families and groups. All properties are chosen for their excellent locations. Most are within a couple of minutes walk of a ski lift. Many chalets have in-house playrooms, and are stocked with toys, books and childcare equipment. Choose from their Traditional chalets or their Select Chalets, all which are perfect for families.

The Traditional Chalets have been selected for their suitability for families. Some are located right on the piste, whilst others are well placed for all of the facilities in the centre of Les Gets. All properties are run by Ski Famille staff who will ensure that you are well fed and looked after in a clean and homely environment.

The Select Chalets offer a little more spacious accommodation and generally have a little more character and higher level of comfort. Services and facilities available at the Select Chalets include complimentary drinks, a choice of wine with evening meals, wireless internet access, sauna, hot tub or steam room and daily chambermaid service.

Childcare
The quality of Ski Famille childcare is the main reason so many clients return year after year. Their resort team will be working hard throughout your stay to ensure that children are professionally looked after and entertained, leaving parents free to enjoy exploring Europe's largest ski area. The service is free and there for you to use as little or as much as you like. Ski Famille will also take children to and from ski school, helping to ensure that your holiday is as hassle free as possible.

Ski Famille aim to ensure that children spend as much time outside as possible, however when its too cold, or they are simply too tired from ski school, they provide stimulating indoor activities in the comfort of our chalets. They do not operate centralised crèches and your children will usually have the same carers for the duration of your holiday. Your child will be cared for by qualified carers and experienced playroom helpers who are first aid trained and have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau. Childcare ratios are maintained in line with OFSTED regulations.

Children are outside whenever possible and can be doing anything from snow man competitions to bear hunts in the woods (don't panic - they won't find a real one!). When children are inside, Ski Famille provide a large range of stimulating games for all ages. Some make use of their supplies of equipment in all properties, all make full use of imaginations.
