Celebrity Hot Spots For Summer Travel With Kids

Celebrities like soon-to-be mom Beyonce don't let their growing families or bellies slow them down when summer travel time hits. See which stars were spotted globetrotting with kids in tow and learn more about the favorite travel destinations of the Hollywood elite.

Miami, Florida seems to be the stateside destination of choice for mom and daughter duos for summer 2011. The ever stylish Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise where spotted there recently; as was Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima and her daughter. Top restaurants and shopping make for great girl time, and the beach gives these hot moms a chance to flaunt their bikini bodies.

Some West Coast celebs choose to enjoy the beach close to home this summer in Malibu, California. Posh and Becks, aka David and Victoria Beckham reportedly purchased a summer home in this hot spot to spend time surfing with their three young boys (prior to be joined by youngest daughter Harper). Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rosdale and sons Kingston and Zuma also took time out to enjoy the waves in Malibu, giving momma Gwen opportunity to show that she’s still got it, as does Halle Berry seen grabbing some sun with daughter Nahla sporting an adorable bikini!

European bound celebs focused on Italy and France this summer. Super model and super mom Heidi Klum was spotted with her children (minus husband Seal) in Sardinia, Italy as was actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her unconventionally named children Apple and Moses. Salma Hayek chose to celebrate her birthday with daughter Valentina and husband Francois-Henri Pinault in Venice while singer Madonna and bikini rocking daughter Lordes were spotted relaxing off the coast of France. Not to mention Brangelina and troops who were in London for most of the summer whist Brad Pitt was filming. Excursions at toy shops and cinema’s filled the tabloids as they made the most of the summer in the UK.

Nothing says summer time like splashing waves and shining sun, leading some celeb parents take their broods to a more tropical destination for this summer’s family vacation. A shirtless Hugh Jackman enjoyed the waves in St. Tropez with his kids, Ava and Oscar, and wife Deborah-Lee Furness. The ever toned Gisele Bundchen and son Benjamin Brady opted to spend time in Costa Rica.

This summer, Tobey Maguire was joined by wife, Jennifer Meyer and their kids, Ruby and Otis in Sydney. Melbourne, Australia was graced with the presence of stunning lingerie model Miranda Kerr and son (with actor Orlando Bloom) Flynn Bloom.


These probably aren’t the family vacations you or I took for sure; from tots in bikinis and dads who we don’t want to put their shirts back on, the glamour and excitement go beyond us mere mortals!
